Search for related No-CD & No-DVD Patch

No-CD & No-DVD Patch troubleshooting: The most common problem getting a No-CD/No-DVD patch to work is ensuring that the No-CD/No-DVD patch matches you're game version, because the games exe is changed when a patch update is applied previous versions won't work.

If its an older game you are playing and you are running Windows 7 or Windows 8 it may not work, if you right click the .exe file and choose Properties and then Compatibility you can change this to run in Windows 98/ Windows 2000 etc. You can find more information on the Beginners Help page here

  • Just joined and Im very new. I recently installed EUROPA BARBARORUM patch 1.1 which works fine but Im having problems with patch 1.2! Im getting this after following all the steps.Okay you probably got alot of this but like I said im very new and I dont know where to put the 1.2 patch I clicked the CREATIVE ASSEMBLY and clicked ROME - TOTAL WAR (not the folder) it didnt work!
  • Update 1.3 is now available to download for owners of Medieval II: Total War. The latest update includes online multiplayer fixes to allow owners of the original game to play with those who have installed the new expansion Kingdoms.
  • Sega Entertainment and Creative Assembly have released version 1.1 patch for Medieval II: Total War. This patch will update your game to version 1.1 and apply the following changes: Major Fixes - Fix crash in Deathtrack MP map with empty Team 3 slot - Fixed Battle AI - armies not engaging enemies at close range.
